Kurvin – Certified Master Inspector
He started in construction at 15 and launched his first company at 23, building custom trade show booths. He went on to build custom homes in Pinedale, WY during the Great Recession, testing his business acumen. Later, he served communities in Idaho and Texas through disaster relief before founding a multi-service real estate company in Texas. Today, Kurvin brings that same passion and experience to Ugly Duckling Inspections, leading a skilled team dedicated to helping homeowners and buyers protect and grow their most valuable asset—their home.
Geoff – Inspector
With over 10 years of construction experience and more than 120 inspections under his belt, Geoff knows homes inside and out. He’s all about being thorough, professional, and easy to work with. Clients love his clear communication and say he’s not just super knowledgeable—he’s also someone who clearly loves what he does. Whether it’s your first home or your fifth, Geoff makes the inspection process smooth and stress-free.
Buddy – Inspector
With years of experience in the construction industry, Buddy, an InterNACHI® Certified Home Inspector, is proud to serve the Canby, Oregon area. Passionate about helping homeowners understand their properties, he focuses on how homes function, how to maintain them, and ways to enhance energy efficiency.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, often exploring the great outdoors and soaking in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
As a property inspector, Buddy is committed to providing thorough, educational inspections that help clients feel confident and informed about their homes, from foundation to rooftop. He looks forward to the opportunity to work with you!
David – Inspector
He is an army veteran with 20+ years in the construction industry. As a teenager, he began working for his grandfather’s plumbing business and worked his way through the trades until he was able to build his own home. With an eye for detail and a passion for safety, David is a sure choice for your home inspection needs.
Katie – Inspector’s Assistant and Future Inspector
From an early age, working side by side with her dad, she learned the value of hard work. He introduced her to many aspects of construction, including drywall installation, tile work, flooring, painting, and more. As she grew older, it felt only natural to join him in the home inspection field.
She has assisted with over 200 inspections—once again by his side—continuing to hone her skills with the goal of becoming one of the youngest female inspectors in the nation.
Lexie – Director of Marketing and Sales
She has an extensive background in Real Estate as she was a previous Principal Broker so she knows how important it is for Brokers and their clients to find someone they can rely on and trust. Lexie is the Director of Sales and Marketing of Ugly Duckling Inspections so you will often find her visiting the Real Estate offices, hosting an event, or attending open houses. You can reach her outside of the normal 9-5 because she is there when you need her.
Mery – Manager of Marketing and Sales
With nearly three years of customer service experience in the home inspection industry, Mery is here to make the process easy for you. From scheduling inspections to answering questions, she’s always ready to help and ensure everything goes smoothly. Reliable and approachable, Mery is dedicated to making sure clients feel comfortable and informed every step of the way.
Eva – Assistant for Marketing and Sales
Recently joined the home inspection industry and has been with Ugly Duckling Inspections for nearly 3 months. With over 5 years of customer service experience, she’s passionate about helping clients, from scheduling inspections and answering questions to ensuring every step of the process runs smoothly.
